Courtown RNLI Lifeboat are a volunteer RNLI lifeboat station on duty 365 days a year 24 hours a day. We provide 24-hour lifeboat dedicated to saving lives at sea. Situated in a village on the south east coast of Ireland, Courtown lifeboat station has provided search and rescue cover for over 75 years. Today, the station operates an inshore D class lifeboat. The National 1798 Centre caters for all age groups and explores the fascinating world of rebels and redcoats through audio-visual presentations, interactive computers and activity books and museum.
The Centre tells the epic and heroic tale of the 1798 Rebellion and its aftermath. It is located just off the N30 and N11 in the shadow of Vinegar Hill, beside the picturesque river Slaney and just 500 meters from Enniscorthy.

Dunbrody Famine Ship in New Ross is Ireland’s unique emigrant ship. The Dunbrody is a full scale reconstruction of a 19th Century Famine ship, an authentic replica of the Three Masted Barque built in Quebec in 1845 for the Graves family of New Ross.

There are 16 sites which depict the settlement of man in Ireland from 7000BC to the Viking invasion. All the sites are authentically furnished to allow you to see first hand what it was really like for our ancestors.
